Melees in the UK are where many players turn up on the day and are all accommodated in a competition with several rounds. Usually it’s a random draw for partners each round. Usually it’s pairs but odd number may mean some triples. Individual scores are kept and somebody wins! Other types of melee are found in other countries. Let us know your versions.
